X Window System / X11 server for Android offers a comprehensive and fully functional solution, complete with a PulseAudio server integration. The application allows for seamless streaming of applications from your Linux PC or running Linux directly on your Android device (installation of Linux requires a separate application).

While it's worth noting that 3D acceleration and OpenGL functionality are not supported, users can leverage VirtualGL for OpenGL support when launching X clients from their PCs.

The touch screen functionality allows for right mouse button click with two fingers and middle button click with three fingers. Additional options include using a stylus button or a Bluetooth mouse. Users can swipe with two fingers to scroll through documents, and finger hover is available on select devices, such as the Galaxy S4/Note 3, by enabling AirView in the system settings.

To access the keyboard, simply press the Back key. Please be aware that non-English text input is not supported in the terminal but functions in GUI applications.

If the Back key is not visible, users can swipe up from the bottom of the screen. Devices equipped with hardware Menu keys will send a Ctrl-Z command (Undo in most apps).

Advanced configurations include the option to disable the gyroscope under Mouse emulation → Advanced → Gyroscope and enable portrait screen orientation and 24bpp color depth via Change device config → Video.

Users can customize the display number by navigating to Change device config → Command line parameters, adjusting the parameters to 'XSDL :123' (where 123 represents the display number). XSDL will listen on TCP port 6123, allowing for additional parameter customization within this dialog box.

To connect to the display manager on your PC, include the parameter '-query your.PC.IP.address' in the Xserver command line and configure your display manager accordingly.

For users leveraging XDM, specific configurations are needed: remove the line beginning with :0 from /etc/X11/xdm/Xservers, add * to /etc/X11/xdm/Xaccess, and set DisplayManager*authorize: false in /etc/X11/xdm/xdm-config to disable the local X server and allow connections from external IP addresses.

If you require the SHM extension to work in a Linux chroot environment, download the file libandroid-shmem.so from this repository: https://github.com/pelya/cuntubuntu/tree/master/dist. Copy it to the chroot directory, set the executable flag, and execute it within chroot before other commands using 'export LD_PRELOAD=/path/to/libandroid-shmem.so'.
